Abstract: The approach to the Robinson oscillator analysis is extended, approximating the circular functions appearing in the original differential equation by the power series consisting of higher order hyperbolic members. Using non-linear Nyquist plot representation for the stationary state investigation, the poles of the solutions for the amplitude and envelope time constant are determined, at finite load conductances. The extreme sensitivity on conductive load variation can be used for detection purposes, and seems to explain some previous experimental results.
