Abstract: The in-depth technical examination of both Zirpro, a traditional flame-retardant for wool and Noflan, a modern alternative phosphorus-based FR developed by Firestop Chemicals Ltd., is offered. Advantages and disadvantages of Zirpro treatment, and Norflan FR treatment are described. Noflan multipurpose finishes are discussed.
