TL;DR: In this paper, a mail transfer system having a mail gateway and a network includes a data storage area for temporarily storing received mail is proposed. But the problem of reducing the storage capacity required to store mail, and streamlining mail relaying is not addressed.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a storage capacity required to store mail, and streamline mail relaying.SOLUTION: A mail transfer system having a mail gateway and a network includes a data storage area for temporarily storing received mail. If the destination of the received mail includes a plurality of destinations stored on the same mail transfer server, the mail gateway creates a single piece of first mail management information including the plurality of destinations stored on the mail transfer server, and stores mail data linking the created first mail management information to the body of the mail in the data storage area. If the destination of the received mail includes one destination stored on the same mail transfer server, the mail gateway creates mail management information including the destination for every destination, and stores mail data linking a plurality of pieces of mail management information thus created to the body of the mail in the data storage area.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a mail conversion method, a mail retrieval method and a mail server for non-real-time conversion of a mail, and the time for a client user to retrieve the converted mail is saved.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a mail conversion method, a mail retrieval method, a mail server, a mail client device, and a mail system. The mail conversion method includes: converting a received mail according to the instruction of a CONVERT operation in a preset mail filtering language (SIEVE); and relating the original mail before conversion to the target mail after conversion. With the present disclosure, non-real-time conversion of a mail is enabled, and the time for a client user to retrieve the converted mail is saved.
TL;DR: In this paper, a system and method for provisioning an electronic mail (email) account for allowing access to an electronic mailbox to retrieve email is presented. But the system is based on a mobile office platform and includes a configuration module and a communications module which are operative for accessing an e-mail mailbox.
Abstract: The system and method are for provisioning an electronic mail (email) account for allowing access to an electronic mailbox to retrieve email. A mobile office platform includes a configuration module and a communications module which are operative for accessing an electronic mailbox. The communications module is to receive email address parameters of the user and transmit a domain name system (DNS) query to the Internet for returning mail exchange (MX) records, including email domain names, corresponding to the email address parameters of the user. The configuration module is to process returned MX records to determine candidate configuration parameters for accessing the email account of the user to retrieve user email. The configuration module is to determine candidate configuration parameters based upon expanding a plurality of prioritized email domain names of the returned MX records.
TL;DR: In this paper, an information processing apparatus includes a transfer unit that accesses a mail server in response to a mail browsing request from a user terminal, and reads mail data in the mail server from the mail servers so as to be transferred to the user terminal.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a transfer unit that accesses a mail server in response to a mail browsing request from a user terminal, and reads mail data in the mail server from the mail server so as to be transferred to the user terminal, a transmission unit that transmits a notification mail for notifying the user terminal of a predetermined event to the mail server, and a deletion unit that accesses the mail server in response to a mail deletion request from the user terminal, and deletes mail data in the mail server, wherein deletion of the notification mail by the deletion unit is restricted.
