Abstract: A sit/stand workstation includes a worktop that includes a powered drive and is moveable between a sitting height and a standing height. An electronic controller offers the user different operating modes, each with varying levels of automation. In one such mode, the user inputs a value that represents a desired percentage of standing time over a given period of time. The controller then uses user-profile information and the inputted value to create an initial custom height-adjustment schedule for the user. During use, the controller moves the worktop up and down following the schedule and uses sensors, such as a pressure mat, to detect how well the user follows the schedule and biometric indicators that convey fatigue and also energy. In response to this monitored user-information, the controller changes time, duration, and/or frequency of the schedule to better meet the abilities and fitness of the user and also to help encourage the user to continue regular use. Sounds, voice, lights, colors, and numerical information are used to help encourage the user.
Abstract: The potential of mucoadhesive delivery system for sustained delivery of drug has been established few decades back.Different polymeric systems such as single or combined, substituted, conjugated, pre-activated polymer (s) etc. are used to develop such delivery platform.To explain the mucoadhesion mechanism, several possible theories namely electronic theory, adsorption theory, wetting theory, diffusion theory, fraction theory and mechanical theory have been proposed.But none of these theories alone can explain the mechanism of mucoadhesion.Various mechanisms of mucoadhesion or bioadhesion between polymer and mucin such as H bonding, electrostatic interactions, di-sulfide linkage, van Der Waals attraction etc have been evidenced.Researches are focused to enrich such interaction between the mucous layer and the delivery platform by modifying the system.Wide varieties of polymers such as cationic, anionic, non-ionic, thiolated polymers etc have been used to design and develop mucoadhesive drug delivery system.Therefore reviewing and analyzing the mucoadhesive polymeric system and their mechanism of action is still relevant and necessary.The aim of this current review is to highlight the polymers which are being used under recent scientific researches with emphasis on their mechanism of mucoadhesion.The result of this critique will assist researchers to screen the mucoadhesive polymers for their designated purpose.

Abstract: We designed, implemented, and evaluated a small physical keyboard, composed of four to five keys with a variety of mappings for the letters, along with one or two navigational function keys operated by the thumb. The small size allows it to be used for smartwatch text entry, and can be mounted on various body parts as a wearable keyboard. It is primarily used as an ambiguous keyboard, akin to T9, although a multi-tap mode is also present. Our keyboard layouts include Alphabetic, Collapsed QWERTY, Mnemonic (where letters are grouped based on their shapes), and Optimized (which minimizes the number of conflicts). In a between-users study, participants achieved an average of 15.4 words per minute (WPM) across all layouts, with one user with the Collapsed QWERTY layout reaching a top speed of 30.6 WPM after 4 hours of practice. User feedback was generally favorable.

Abstract: We present MarkPad, a novel interaction technique taking advantage of the touchpad. MarkPad allows creating a large number of size-dependent gestural shortcuts that can be spatially organized as desired by the user. It relies on the idea of using visual or tactile marks on the touchpad or a combination of them. Gestures start from a mark on the border and end on another mark anywhere. MarkPad does not conflict with standard interactions and provides a novice mode that acts as a rehearsal of the expert mode. A first study showed that an accuracy of 95% could be achieved for a dense configuration of tactile and/or visual marks allowing many gestures. Performance was 5% lower in a second study where the marks were only on the borders. A last study showed that borders are rarely used, even when the users are unaware of the technique. Finally, we present a working prototype and briefly report on how it was used by two users for a few months.

Abstract: The invention provides an intelligent bicycle lock, and a control method and a system thereof. The intelligent bicycle lock comprises a starting button, a processor, and a Narrow Band Internet of Things communication module; the processor is connected with the Narrow Band Internet of Things communication module and the starting button via electrical connection respectively; the processor is used for controlling the Narrow Band Internet of Things communication module to enter into a first working mode after receiving trigger signals generated after triggering of the starting button by users, so that communication of the Narrow Band Internet of Things communication module with a back-end server is established, unlocking request instructions containing first identification information of the intelligent bicycle lock is sent to the back-end server via communication, and the back-end server is capable of sending unlocking instructions to the processor based on the first identification information of the intelligent bicycle lock; the processor is also used for controlling unlocking of the intelligent bicycle lock after receiving the unlocking instructions by the back-end server; the Narrow Band Internet of Things communication module is used for performing communication with the back-end server after entering into a first working mode. The intelligent bicycle lock is relatively low in energy consumption.

Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of the Web application protection, and discloses a multi-mode Web application protection method based on Mshield machine learning. The method comprises the following steps: extracting features through a semantic analysis unit, transmitting to a machine learning unit to recognize, and applying a random forest algorithm and a logic regression algorithm; effectively distinguishing hostile attack from a normal access request, and immediately intercepting the attack, wherein the Mshield cloud platform screens logs reported by the device everyday and them summarizes to place in a database as the iteration and a data set for improving the algorithm effect; performing deduction according to the past security posture, predicting the possible attack event and an application easy to be attacked in future. By acquiring the features of mega attack load data, through the training and the generalization of a machine learning model, the Mshield is more efficient and safer protection capacity in the face of the current even the unknown Web attack in future in comparison with the traditional WAF.
