TL;DR: In this paper, a system for limiting audio output which in one embodiment includes an audio source, headphones coupled to the audio source and a limiting circuit coupled to headphones thereby reducing the power output at the headphones to a safe hearing level is presented.
Abstract: A system for limiting audio output which in one embodiment includes an audio source, headphones coupled to the audio source, and a limiting circuit coupled to the headphones thereby reducing the power output at the headphones to a safe hearing level. The limiting circuit in one embodiment is integrated into the headphones and can not be disabled.
TL;DR: In this article, an audio adaptor and method of communication is provided, which involves receiving a first audio signal at a line level from the source of audio, receiving a second audio signal from a telephone, transmitting the first audio signals and the second audio signals at the line level to an audio output device, attenuating the first signal from the line-level to a microphone level and transmitting the attenuated first signal.
Abstract: An audio adaptor and method of communication is provided. The audio adaptor includes a first connector for connecting to a source of audio, a second connector for connecting to a telephone, a third connector for connecting to an audio output device, and an attenuator connected to the first connector and the second connector. The method involves receiving a first audio signal at a line level from the source of audio, receiving a second audio signal at the line level from a telephone, transmitting the first audio signal and the second audio signal at the line level to an audio output device, attenuating the first audio signal from the line level to a microphone level and transmitting the attenuated first audio signal.
TL;DR: In this article, a multi-control audio system consisting of a terminal by area, a multichannel preamplifier, a main control unit, multiple power amplifiers, and an automatic path selector is presented.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-control audio system comprising a terminal by area, a multi-channel preamplifier, a main control unit, multiple power amplifiers, and an automatic path selector. The multi-control audio system can be simultaneously used in multiple areas, and can be used in multiple areas with a small number of power amplifiers by being formed to be automatically switched by power amplifiers in an idle state. The multi-control audio system can suppress howling by controlling a speaker capable of creating howling sound when multiple microphones are used, and can be automatically switched to available equipment in malfunction, and also transmit emergency broadcasts in emergency such as a fire. The multi-control audio system comprises: multiple terminals by area, installed by corresponding to each area and having multiple microphone/line level input units, for receiving audio signals from multiple microphones; the multi-channel preamplifier for amplifying the audio signals received from the microphones of the terminals by area; the main control unit, including a path control unit, for connecting the audio signals inputted from the preamplifier to a fixed power amplifier through a fixed path; multiple power amplifiers, automatically selected to form a pair with a terminal by area, for amplifying the audio signals outputted from the main control unit; and an automatic selector for switching to another power amplifier in an idle state by inspecting a current power amplifier, if the current power amplifier has a problem.
