TL;DR: A pigmented ink for ink jet printers which comprises an aqueous carrier medium, and pigment particles dispersed in an AB or BAB block copolymer having a hydrophilic segment and a segment that links to the pigment is described in this article.
Abstract: A pigmented ink for ink jet printers which comprises an aqueous carrier medium, and pigment particles dispersed in an AB or BAB block copolymer having a hydrophilic segment and a segment that links to the pigment. The A block and the B block(s) have molecular weights of at least 300. These inks give images having good print quality, water and smear resistance, lightfastness, and storage stability.
TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive review of light fastness standards, and the photochemistry involved, using six different light sources, is presented, as well as some of the physical and chemical factors which influence lightfastness.
Abstract: In this comprehensive review the authors discuss light fastness standards, and the photochemistry involved, using six different light sources. The mechanisms of dye fading on textiles are explored, as well as some of the physical and chemical factors which influence lightfastness. Citations throughout the text are gathered at the end, serving as a large bibliography.
TL;DR: In this article, the light stability of wood panel treated with acetic anhydride, succinic anoxide, maleic anoxide and phthalic anhydrides was compared.
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of wood extractives in photodegradation process was examined and the variations in the surface properties of non-extracted and extracted Cryptomeria japonica and Acacia confusa heartwood were examined after exposure to ultraviolet light.
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of new coumarin fluorescent dyes derived from arylsulfonation of the parent benzothiazole, benzimidazole and benzoxazole dyes have been synthesized in high yield.
