TL;DR: Dermatography, a refined, modified tattooing technique, was used successfully in three cases of leucoma corneae and over a 3-year follow-up period, no negative reactions were found.
Abstract: Since antiquity many attempts were made and hence many methods were devised to minimize the disfiguration and stigmatization caused by leucoma corneae. Dermatography, a refined, modified tattooing technique, was used successfully in three cases of leucoma corneae. The materials and method are safe a

TL;DR: This desease is a rare, sometimes familial, congenital affection of the cornea that has become known as Peter's anomaly after the German ophthalmologist Peters, who in 1904 and 1906 described several cases of congenital corneal opacities and showed that they were due to failure in development.
Abstract: This desease is a rare, sometimes familial, congenital affection of the cornea. The pricipal finding is a central opacity localised in the deep corneal layers and often connected with iridic synechiae. During recent years, the affection has become known as Peter's anomaly after the German ophthalmologist Peters, who in 1904 and 1906 described several cases of congenital corneal opacities, and who was the first that unquestionably showed that they were due to failure in development. As early as 1840 the disease was described by Crompton. The aetiology of the disease was ardently discussed by von Hippel, Peters and Seefelder during the first quarter of this century. The two cases of congenital corneal opacities mentioned below, have caused some studies in literature, with special reference to the differential diagnosis and aetiology which briefly are discussed.
TL;DR: These conditions of leucoma or leucoplahia of the vulva have received so little attention in this country that the author is not acquainted with any work or paper on the subject, or even with published cases.
Abstract: WHITE areas of more or less horny epithelium occur on the vulva just as they do on the buccal mucous membrane. 'They may be associated with cancer, as the following cases will shbw. These conditions of leucoma or leucoplahia of the vulva have received so little attention in this country that I am not acquainted with any work or paper on the subject, or even with published cases. On that account, and on account of the probable importance of the disease as a predisposing cause of cancer of the vulva, I have set down here whatI have seen and read of the disease. The sketch of the nakedeye appearances (Fig. i) is not taken directly from a patient, for all my three cases were in private practice. But Dr. Mark has succeeded in producing a very good representation of the characters from my description of it.
