Abstract: The specific features of spatio-temporal organization of the parasitoid-host system in a heterogeneous environment was analyzed. The spatial distribution of ectoparasitoids in different habitat types of their host Polistes dominulus (Christ) (Hymenoptera, Vespidae) was found to be non-uniform. Latibulus argiolus (Rossi) (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) prevailed in the host nests located in shelters, while Elasmus schmitti Ruschka (Hymenoptera, Eulophidae) prevailed in the nests attached to plants.
TL;DR: The genus Latibulus Gistel, 1848 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) is taxonomically reviewed in Iran and L. orientalis is a new record for the fauna of Iran, while L. argiolus is recorded from central part of Iran (Isfahan) for the first time.
TL;DR: Two species of the genus Latibulus are recognized from Japan including a new species, L. hokkaidensis n.
Abstract: Two species of the genus Latibulus are recognized from Japan including a new species, L. hokkaidensis n. sp. from Polistes reparius Sk. Yamane et S. Yamane and Polistes snelleni (Saussure) (Hymenoptera: Vespidae). They are decribed for the seasonal variation (spring and summer forms). A key to species for the Japanese Latibulus is provided with photographs.
TL;DR: A new spedes of the genus Latibulus is described and illustrated in this paper and preserved in General Station of Forest Pest Management, Ministry of Forestry, Shenyang.
