Abstract: Mixtures of a polystyrene-block-polybutadiene-block-polystyrene copolymer (Kraton 1102) and a low molecular weight homopolymer (polystyrene or poly(α-methylstyrene) with MW ranging from 1200 to 9900) were studied. Dynamic viscoelastic measurements showed that the solubility limits of pαMS in the block copolymer are greater than those of PS. Phase diagrams were constructed experimentally for Kraton 1102/PαMS, which allowed to determine the boundary between the mesophase and the homogeneous phase. Cloud point curves for liquid-liquid phase separation were determined. The results were compared with predictions made by the theory of Noolandi and coworkers
