TL;DR: In this paper, a method of interworking CS (Circuit Switched) video calls with video calls using IP multimedia protocols is provided. But this method is not suitable for CS calls where the codec capabilities and/or preferences of the CS terminal can be taken into account during the IP codec negotiation with the IP endpoint.
Abstract: A method of interworking CS (Circuit Switched) video calls with video calls using IP multimedia protocols is provided. According to the method, an interworking function receives signalling comprising an indication of the codec capability of a CS terminal involved in the CS video call, as part of a MONA (Media Oriented Negotiation Acceleration) negotiation. Thereafter IP codec negotiation is initiated. And thereafter the MONA negotiation is continued and/or completed. Thus the codec capabilities and/or preferences of the CS terminal can be taken into account during the IP codec negotiation with the IP endpoint.

Adopt above -mentioned technical scheme, when the higher level will send the emergency notice, customer end in the subordinate that is just saying in the announcement station and subordinate station are regional can realize easily that automatic seamless quick switching becomes the higher level information playing that stands, and easy operation, operating time are extremely fast, and operating efficiency is high, can be fine embody higher level's characteristic of preferential " promptly ".
