TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for entering information into a software application resident on a mobile communication facility is provided, which may include recording speech presented by a user using a mobile communications facility resident capture facility, transmitting the recording through a wireless communication facility to a speech recognition facility, and generating results utilizing the speech recognition system using an unstructured language model based at least in part on the information relating to the software application and the recording.
Abstract: A method and system for entering information into a software application resident on a mobile communication facility is provided. The method and system may include recording speech presented by a user using a mobile communication facility resident capture facility, transmitting the recording through a wireless communication facility to a speech recognition facility, transmitting information relating to the software application to the speech recognition facility, generating results utilizing the speech recognition facility using an unstructured language model based at least in part on the information relating to the software application and the recording, transmitting the results to the mobile communications facility, loading the results into the software application and simultaneously displaying the results as a set of words and as a set of application results based on those words.

Abstract: A facility management computer system which, in one embodiment, controls a website that provides users with access to user-generated data and sensor-generated data. The computer system is used in conjunction with a facility having at least one sensor for sensing variable conditions of the facility. The computer system integrates the sensor-generated data with non-sensor data, such as data related to facility description, facility users, facility income and facility expenses. Such a computer system assists facility managers in increasing the efficiency of operating facilities and minimizing loss and damage to facilities.
TL;DR: In this paper, a test framework for testing peer-to-peer applications allocates a test case manager and a plurality of distributed test units for each test case, which has a sequence of actions each to be performed by one of the test units.
Abstract: A test framework for testing peer-to-peer applications allocates a test case manager and a plurality of distributed test units for each test case, which has a sequence of actions each to be performed by one of the test units. To enable the test units to perform the test case actions, the test case manager loads dynamic link library files (DDLs) containing the test case to each test unit, and creates on each test unit a test object that can be remotely activated using an object-remoting framework. To execute the test case, the test case manager goes through the sequence of test case actions. For each action, the test case manager calls the test object on a corresponding test unit to perform the action. In this way, the test case manager directs the test units to carry out the test case actions. The results of the test case actions are logged by the distributed test units and then collected for analysis and diagnosis.
TL;DR: In this paper, a computer implemented method for generating a test plan for a communication device under test is described. But the test plan does not define test tools, test methodologies, test configurations, and algorithms for executing the test.
Abstract: A computer implemented method for generating a test plan for a communication device under test. The test plan defines test tools, test methodologies, test configurations, and algorithms for executing the test. A user input is received to define the communication device under test. Next, a knowledge database is searched to identify test plan parameters for the communication device under test. Thereafter, the test plan parameters and the user input are analyzed to identify the test plan. A system and computer readable medium having program instructions for generating a test plan for a communication device under test are also described.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a system and method for facilitating real-time, web based point of sale operations such as sales, reporting, etc., which involve a central database management facility storing and managing data related to at least one user interface form operable within a browser application and to items which may be sold or otherwise processed at a point-of-sale.
Abstract: System and method for facilitating real-time, web based point of sale operations such as sales, reporting, etc. The system and method include and involve a central database management facility storing and managing data related to at least one user interface form operable within a browser application and to items which may be sold or otherwise processed at a point of sale. Also included and involved is a plurality of client data processing facilities which are coupled to the central database management facility via an electronic data network. Each client data processing system is located at a remote point of sale and is coupled to the central database management facility via a network connection over the electronic data network. Each client data processing facility is configured to execute the browser application, to access the central database management facility via the network connection to retrieve and process at least one user interface form within the browser application, to access the central database management facility in real time to retrieve data related to at least one of the items to facilitate a remote point of sale related operation, and to cause the central database management facility to manage the data based on the remote point of sale related operation.
