TL;DR: In this paper, an improved universal multiple angle work piece holder is proposed, which is capable of setting an object at any desired compound angle so that the object may be machined at a desired location.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved universal multiple angle work piece holder which is capable of setting an object at any desired compound angle so that the object may be machined at any desired location. The invention further relates to an apparatus which can be securely adjusted in a manner that provides a firm support for the object to be machined and provides an angle adjustment design which allows the object to be machined to be adjacent the center lines of the universal multiple angle work piece holder. The present invention also relates to a tool which can easily be converted into other useful tools such as an indexing head to set a work piece at standard angles, a collet holder for use with machines such as a vertical milling machine or a surface grinder, or a dresser for use with a grinding wheel.
TL;DR: In this article, a surgical sagittal saw (50) with an indexing head was used to remove a blade assembly from the saw head, and manual forces were used to overcome the biasing spring to replace the blade assembly.
Abstract: A surgical sagittal saw (50) with an indexing head. The saw actuates a blade assembly (52) that includes a bar from which a blade head (76) extends. An oscillating head (70) extends upwardly from the saw head (68) . The oscillating head, in addition is mounted to the saw head to be able to rotate around its longitudinal axis and so that it can move along the saw head. A biasing spring normally holds the oscillating head in a fixed position. When the oscillating head is in the fixed position, the oscillating head holds the blade assembly against a restraining bracket integral with the saw head. Manual force is used to overcome the biasing spring to allow replacement and removal of the blade assembly.

TL;DR: In this paper, the indexing head is mounted on a carriage on guides that have linear and rotary drives for indexing and axial movement, and the angled positioning of the index head ensures that the selected tool is vertical.
Abstract: The automatic assembly machine has an indexing head (10) that has a number of assembly tools for a range of operations (16). In particular the tools provide delivery of metal or wood dowels, pins or threaded bolts. The indexing head is mounted on a carriage on guides (2) that have linear and rotary drives for indexing and axial movement. The angled positioning of the indexing head ensures that the selected tool (34) is vertical.
TL;DR: In this paper, the utility model discloses an indexing fixture for drilling on a cone and ratholing on a cylinder, which is fixed on a bottom plate by bolts.
Abstract: The utility model discloses an indexing fixture for drilling on a cone and ratholing on a cylinder. A corner plate support of the indexing fixture is fixed on a bottom plate by bolts; a beam barrel is installed in a beam barrel hole on the corner plate support; the corner plate is installed on the beam barrel; two corner plate fixing bolts respectively pass through arc-shaped grooves on the corner plate support to be fixed in screwed holes on two side surfaces of the corner plate; a platen is fixed on the corner plate by bolts; a locking bolt passes through the center hole on the platen to be connected with the first inner screwed hole on an indexing head in the round hole of the corner plate; a spring is installed in an annular groove on the indexing head and is pressed by the platen; a locating steel ball and a locating spring are installed in the locating hole on the corner plate; a positioning screw is installed in the second inner screwed hole on the indexing head; an elastic jacket is installed in a tapered hole on the indexing head; a workpiece is clamped by an elastic jacket nut installed on the external thread of the indexing head; a drill bushing is installed on a drill bushing permanent seat; and the drill bushing permanent seat is fixed on the bottom plate by bolts.
