TL;DR: In this article, a built-up type of digital storage system (10) is proposed to store digital data on a human readable medium for a long time, which makes possible to exchange subsystems completely with minimizing scaling of the system, priority selection of specific image processing components, and probability of data loss.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to store digital data on a human readable medium for a long time. SOLUTION: A digital storage system (10) accepts a digital data record as input, writes the data record on a storage quality medium (210) in a human readable format, stores the medium (210), and fetch the data record from the medium (210). This system (10) is a built-up type and makes possible to exchanging subsystems completely with minimizing scaling of the system (10), priority selection of specific image processing components, and probability of data loss. The digital storage system (10) can read the stored human readable data record independent of the particular read hardware even in the distant future, because the data record is stored with the related meta data record in human readable format.
