Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a perfume composition excellent in stress relaxation action, especially in relaxing the stress due to lack of sleep, by using at least one compound selected from among nerolidol, hedion, mayol, lilial, helional, phenylethyl alcohol, and α-hexylcinnamic aldehyde. SOLUTION: The compound is compounded into a perfume composition used for perfuming cosmetics or fragrance products. When two or more compounds are combined, a composition containing ingredients, each in an amount of 5 to 15 wt.%, exhibits an especially remarkable action. Preferably, the composition is adjusted to a perfume of the so-called aquafloral note. In order to impart a perfume of the aquafloral note, nerolidol, hedion, mayol, or lilial is mixed with the same amount of helional or the like, or phenylethyl alcoholol is mixed with almost the same amount of α-hexylcinnamic aldehyde.
