Abstract: In conditions of stable performance of devices and standard materials, printing standardization test was carried out based on the G7 method. The control methods of the test location were introduced. The data of foundation and characterization tests were compared. It was found that when using adjustment compensating curve obtained from NPDC curve to publish printing plate,HR,HC,the SC value, the neutral density value, dot gain curve situation can meet G7 standard;the redone NPDC curve meet G7 standard curve trend. It was showed that printing standardization test method based on the G7 method is very effective and it can provide reference to the enterprises that use G7 method to take printing standardization test.

Abstract: The invention discloses a wide-gamut color management method, system and apparatus. A digital sample printing system is corrected by making an ICC profile to obtain a wide-gamut digital sample printing file, so that the color saturation and brightness of the printing file can be improved; the ICC profile can be made by applying a G7 method through changing a printing ink formula, and then the digital sample printing system is corrected to obtain a digital sample printing file which better meets an actual requirement; and a gray balance curve and a tone curve are reset by utilizing the ICC profile, and an image file close to an original manuscript in color can be obtained through color separation scanning.

Abstract: The invention discloses a printing process based on an XCMYK expansion color gamut. The printing process comprises the following steps that paper is selected according to ISO 12647:2013 standard, andhigh-quality four-color ink is selected as ink; the net point shape is set as composite screening, and ink points are small enough; a G7 method is adopted for pre-printing publication compensation curve setting, and color calibration is carried out; and the thickness of a rubber blanket liner in printing equipment is increased so as to increase the pressure between a rubber cloth roller and an impression cylinder of a printer. Under the condition of not changing the existing printer state and adopted consumables, through optimization and selection of the reasonable ink concentration, the number of net wires and the size of a frequency modulation net, the situation that due to ink accumulating, larger printing difficulty is brought, and color control is instable are avoided; and meanwhile, the saturability and colors of printed products are improved, then the packing value is increased, and product competitiveness is improved.
TL;DR: In this article, the tone value variation of primary color was analyzed in terms of chromaticity deviation of paper, and the variation tendency of gray balance impacted by ink and paper property was qualitatively discussed according to data comparison with G7 method.
Abstract: Gray balance is the basic and critical control parameters of color reproduction, which plays important rule as lever in color reproduction which balance the correlation of material characters and process control parameters. This paper focused on investigation about gray balance data variation caused by slight chromaticity deviation of printing material. In the experiment the creation procedure of gray balance curve was simulated by EPSON Stylus Pro7880c ink-jet printer, and delivered curves were compared with each other. Accordingly the tone value variation of primary color was analyzed in terms of chromaticity deviation of paper. Meanwhile the variation tendency of gray balance impacted by ink and paper property was qualitatively discussed according to data comparison with G7 method. Results show that tone value of Y is so sensitive to paper chromaticity deviation that even the dominant relation between Y and M tone will be altered. At the same time, the more the ink and paper property coincide with ISO standard, the more curve of gray balance curve coincide with theoretically ideal value.
