TL;DR: In this paper, a growing method of an inverted tower-shaped fruit tree is described, which is characterized by the fact that the tree is not thinned within the first to third years after the fruit tree was planted, and the fruit trees are subjected to bud-notching in every spring, the annual long branches are pulled downwards in each autumn, and after three years, the inverted tower shape is maintained and managed annually.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of planting of fruit trees, and in particular relates to a cultivating method of an inverted tower-shaped fruit tree. The cultivating method is characterized in that the fruit tree is not thinned within the first to third years after the fruit tree is planted, the fruit tree is subjected to bud-notching in every spring, the annual long branches are pulled downwards in each autumn, and the three-year fruit tree forms an inverted tower shape; after three years, the inverted tower shape is maintained and managed annually. The cultivating method has the advantages that the staking remaining and complete removal are avoided, the goal of tree planting in the first year, flowering in the second year, and fruiting in the third year is reached, the rich yield is reached in the fourth year, and the management goal of early fruiting, rich yield, high quality and high efficiency of full fruit period in the fifth year is reached; the growing condition of fruit tree can be controlled, and the flowering of fruit tree is favorable; after the annual branches are pulled downwards and droop down, the fruit tree is subjected to bud-notching in spring in the second year, the growing of small branches or the flowering is promoted, and the grown small branches are uniformly distributed; for the small branches which grow in the first year, the staking remaining and complete removal are avoided, the thickness ratio is controlled by pulling the branches, and the early flowering and fruiting can be promoted.
