Abstract: The invention discloses a passive solar room with a vertical ventilation chimney in a living room, and relates to the technical field of building structures. The passive solar room comprises a room body, a sloping roof with a transparent south surface, a windproof foyer, an additional sunlight room and the vertical ventilation chimney, wherein the room body is a building body in the north-south direction, the roof at the top of the room body is the sloping roof with the transparent south surface, the windproof foyer is arranged in the middle of the room body, the roof of the room body is provided with the vertical ventilation chimney, and the room body is internally provided with the additional sunlight room. The passive solar room with the vertical ventilation chimney in the living room has the functions of heat preservation, heat insulation, ventilation and the like.
