TL;DR: In this paper, a method for preparing small diamond or trapezoidal stone chips by cutting flagstone includes such steps as cutting a flagstone to obtain the stone bars with proper width (or the small parallelogram flagstone), parallel arranging, fixing, and cutting by a certain angle several times to obtain small diamond (or trapezoid) stone chips.

Its cutting machine is also disclosed.
TL;DR: In this article, a large-area footpath flagstone on which the structural termination with respect to the carriageway is optically visible, on which function of the footpath is preserved in the event of brief overloading and which is furthermore suitable for absorbing impact forces from vehicles and draining away surface water which occurs.
Abstract: The large-area footpath flagstone is preferably suitable for laying on footpaths running parallel to the street. While the aim is to be seen in preparing a footpath flagstone which permits a significant increase in productivity in the making of footpaths while reducing labour, the object is to provide a large-area footpath flagstone on which the structural termination with respect to the carriageway is optically visible, on which the function of the footpath is preserved in the event of brief overloading and which is furthermore suitable for absorbing impact forces from vehicles and draining away surface water which occurs. This is achieved substantially by the footpath flagstone (1) covering the entire width of the footpath, the face pointing towards the carriageway being designed as a slope (4) in the form of a kerb, the surface of the footpath flagstone (1) having a lattice-shaped grid (2) and the footpath flagstone being provided with transport reinforcement known per se.
