Abstract: A method and an apparatus for selecting media files are provided. In the present invention, three keys are used for selecting a plurality of media files, wherein one of the keys is used for rotating and selecting a presently displayed media file, one of the keys is used for directly selecting the presently displayed media file, and another key is used for skipping the presently displayed media file. Complete select functions can be executed to a plurality of media files stored in any path by using foregoing three keys. The selected media files are stored in another path as being selected without spending time in actions such as moving, copying, and deleting, etc. Thus, the media file select operation is greatly simplified.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An advertisement display method in a wireless mobile terminal using a file downloading time is provided to reproduce and screen-output an advertisement message close to the time required for the downloading a high capacity file to a wireless mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a mobile terminal accesses an Internet network and selects a desired file from a site holding various file(S10), a file select signal is transmitted to a Web server. The Web server transmits a message requesting a confirmation for downloading a data on the basis of the file select signal, and the confirmation request message is inputted to a controller. The controller displays the confirmation request message content on a display unit. When the user clicks 'OK' over the text content displayed on the display unit, the OK clock signal is transmitted to the Web server. The Web server fetches the user's desired file from the site and transmits it to a mobile communication network(S12). The file is stored in a memory unit and the controller calculates a time required for downloading it in consideration of the size of the file and the speed of the current downloading(S14). The controller extracts an advertisement message having a reproduction time most close to the calculated time required for downloading among various advertisement message. The controller transmits the advertisement message to a reproduction processing unit and the reproduction processing reproduces the advertisement message and displays it on the display unit. Accordingly, the advertisement is displayed on the display unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for managing files in a mobile communication terminal having a touch environment including a touchscreen. The method comprises the steps of: displaying a file select region for selecting files and a group region if the mobile communication terminal enters a file management mode for editing files; adding files to the group region in a manner of moving the files the group region when one among the files in the file select region is touched and is dragged to the group region; providing an input window for setting a name of the group region if a frame bar positioned in the group region is swiped, wherein swiping is defined as an operation that an object that can be recognized by a touch using a finger or the like passes over the touchscreen by a predetermined distance within a predetermined period of time; and setting an input name as a group name and completing group settings, when an input of the name to the input window is completed. By using the present invention, in the case of managing files in a cloud environment, the method enables a user to set a plurality of files to a desired group only with a drag operation and a swipe operation, and to automatically classify files having location information and temporal information as file names in an intuitive method, thereby improving user convenience.
