Abstract: The invention relates to the field of server display, in particular to a screen capture method applied to a server. A display signal is divided into two paths, wherein one path is used for displaying, and the other path is used for carrying out decoding storage so as to realize a purpose that screen capture can be carried out at any moment after startup without the restriction of an operating system. When the method disclosed by the invention is adopted, a beneficial effect of screen capture can be realized before the server enters the operating system or when the server enters other systems including DOS (Disk Operating System) and the like. In addition, the method disclosed by the invention can be applied to various server systems, and exhibits good compatibility.
