Abstract: The smart hard disc device is one ideal carrier of multimedia file. Unlike available movable hard disc depending on computer, the smart hard disc device can exchange data directly with multimedia equipment actively after being connected to the multimedia equipment, so that the smart hard disc device is really portable. In addition, the hard disc integration method breaking the traditional design limitation integrates at least partial hard disc circuit and at least partial system circuit on the same mainboard resulting in lowered cost and minimized volume. One of the important application of the hard disc integration method is portable computer (HDD-PDA) based on hard disc.
