Abstract: A survey was conducted to find out if Primary school Year 5 students and Year 9 students had any idea of the level of threat they perceived that cyclone hazard posed to them. It was revealed that they had very limited real understanding of the same. To rectify this educational package is designed to instruct children in appropriate preparatory behaviours for cyclone hazard and inform them of what they should expect of a cyclone experience.
