TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed the concept and connotation of computer cyber security, then studied the main content of computer security protection tech, and finally gave the computer cyber-security protection measures.
Abstract: The continuous deepening of the number and importance of sensitive and key info stored in computer network system has brought severe challenges to the computer cyber security protection tech. It is urgent to upgrade the cyber security protection, so that it can serve and match the healthy development of computer network. Based on this, this paper first analyses the concept and connotation of computer cyber security, then studies the main content of computer cyber security protection tech, and finally gives the computer cyber security protection measures.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated how the ethnic visibility of Taiwan Hakka is improved through language use, focusing on the usage of a unique Hakka symbolic code, with its meaning turning from negative to positive connotation.
Abstract: This study investigates how the ethnic visibility of Taiwan Hakka is improved through language use. The usage of a unique Hakka symbolic code is focused on. Based on data from the four Taiwan major newspapers, an analysis with text techniques shows that the code emerges along with social-political developments in Taiwan, with its meaning turning from negative to positive connotation. Its frequency is highly correlated with major political events in Taiwan, with peaks during the two or three years before presidential elections. It illustrates semiotic innovation, extending from Hakka to Hakka non-human, to non-Hakka, and to non-Hakka non-human frames. The salient image it creates increases Hakka ethnic visibility and enhances their ethnic identity. TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reviewed cultural appropriation through three different domains: appropriation in art, appropriation in media and technology, and appropriation in cultural studies, and found that cultural exchange and mutual respect are the solutions to cultural appropriation in virtual worlds.
Abstract: Culture is to be lived and to be learned. The connotation of cultural symbols is negotiated and learned within a culture (Sturken & Cartwright, 2004). When we are part of the dominant culture using another’s cultural objects, we may not know the context of that object, which may lead to cultural appropriation. In this paper, I review appropriation through three different domains: appropriation in art, appropriation in media and technology, and appropriation in cultural studies. I specifically chose to use denotation and connotation as the means to analyze interview text and visual data because these two coding systems are able to draw the cultural meanings embedded in the texts beyond the surface level of understanding. Findings can be categorized into three threads: 1) cultural appropriation in virtual worlds, 2) caring about cultural appropriation, and 3) solutions to cultural appropriation in virtual worlds. This research suggests that cultural exchange and mutual respect are the solutions to cultural appropriation in virtual worlds. Visual literacy will help virtual world residents learn how to read, see, decode, and create virtual imagery.
