Connotation

Abstract: Decoding the dramatic situation, intertextuality, and connotation of a poetic text can be very helpful for its interpretation. How the theory of those three aspects of semiotics might be applied in Dover Beach is to be the focus of this article.

Abstract: Although interpersonal emotion regulation (IER) has gained more attention in recent years, few studies focus on IER in romantic relationships. In this study, using a qualitative-quantitative approach, we assessed the most commonly-used IER strategies employed by couples in both positive and negative interactions, and the anticipated self and partner’s emotions arising from their utilization. One hundred and ninety-nine couples participated in this research. The participants had to read a vignette that had a positive connotation and imagine they were the main character and write answers to four questions. Then, they had to repeat the process, using the negative connotation vignette. The questions were focused on the assessment of the self-anticipated IER strategies as well as the self and partner’s anticipated emotional reactions associated with the self-anticipated IER strategies. The thematic analysis showed that most of the participants described IER strategies that fit either into the ‘cognitive engagement’ category or in the ‘put own feelings first’ category. The most frequently anticipated self and partner’s emotions were ‘calm’, ‘joy’ or ‘sadness’. IER strategies have an effect not only on the target but also on the regulator. This aspect can contribute to a better understanding of couple relationships.

Abstract: OECD is an important force to promote global lifelong learning development.Since the 1970s,its lifelong learning strategy has been evolving from recurrent education to lifelong learning for all.State,market and civil society are the main contributing factors to this evolution,and they are interrelated but with variation.Moreover,the evolution shows the enrichment of strategy connotation and goal,the diversity of strategy approach,and the wide range of strategy influence.

Abstract: The traditional culture not only influences the life of modern people, but also promotes the sports undertakings in China. Influenced by the traditional culture, the development of leisure sports in ancient China has very strong traditional cultural nature and its contemporary value connotation. This paper analyzes and discusses on the development of leisure sports in ancient China and its contemporary sports culture value, aiming at further making the development of leisure sports in ancient China and its cultural value connotation clearly, doing some beneficial researches and making some contributions.
