TL;DR: This article explores Michel de Certeau's thought in relation to the monastic tradition, using the metaphor of dance to nuance differences and contradictions, particularly through the concept of 'Absence' in mystical and existential contexts.
Abstract: Abstract The article is an attempt to sketch the relationship of Michel de Certeau’s thought to the monastic tradition. This tradition is presented on the example of texts by some selected authors, above all Evagrius Ponticus and John Cassian. The sketched relationship is shown in the context of the notion of ‘Absence’, whose broad connotation, both mystical and existential, corresponds to the mainstream ‘affinity’ of Certeau with the monks. In doing so, the metaphor of dance is used, helping to better nuance the differences or even contradictions, despite the affinity, present in both realities.
TL;DR: This paper explores the application of artificial intelligence in designing dynamic sound effects for film and television, leveraging sound design technology to enhance artistic expression and audience engagement through immersive audio-visual experiences.
Abstract: In the process of film from visual art to audio-visual art, sound design technology provides unlimited possibilities for its development. Before the emergence of audio film, we can only understand the connotation of the film through the actor's actions and some subtitles. Until the emergence of audio film, we can not only deeply under-stand the author's ideas through the actor's lines, the rendering and contrast of sound and music, but also let it better shape its own artistic works. The same is true of television, which appeared later than movies. The design of music, sound and language plays a very important role from the early sound design to the later sound image shaping and the second creation of the sound of the whole film. Therefore, this paper studies the film and televi-sion sound dynamic effect designsystem based on artificial intelligence.
TL;DR: This study compares English and Russian proverbs related to "law", "court", and "judge", identifying structural and semantic features, linguocultural connotations, and expressiveness, revealing national and cultural specificity in their meanings and figurative interpretations.
Abstract: The article is concerned with identifying the structural and semantic features of proverbs in English and Russian with the meaning of "law", "court" and "judge". The purpose of the work is to identify various nuances of the meanings of proverbs and their figurative interpretation for understanding the attitude of native speakers of English and Russian to this topic. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the author offers his own systematization of the main meanings of proverbs (twelve groups were identified), conducts a semantic analysis of the lexical components, syntactic structures, as well as figurative and expressive means of proverbs of this thematic group in the aspect of linguocultural connotation. The sphere of application of the results is both in pedagogical activity, in the process of teaching English, and as a basis for a more in-depth comparative study of proverbs of this thematic group, including the usage of proverbs of other languages. The study used descriptive and comparative methods, as well as structural-syntactic and functional-stylistic analysis. As a result of the analysis, the author identified the following consistent patterns: neutral and abstract vocabulary is more often used in English proverbs; they are more interesting not so much due to linguistic means, but because they contain various aspects of legal proceedings, diverse observations, a greater variety of logical conclusions, nuances and shadings of meaning. Russian proverbs are more representative of an affective evaluation of the court, they present a more figurative perception of the world, which is reflected in a wide palette of lexical means (historicisms, archaisms, etc.), as well as means of expressive and colloquial syntax. In addition to the unique ones, there are also common means of expression for Russian and English proverbs. The author analyzes all the verbal means and draws conclusions about the national and cultural specificity of proverbs and about the concept of law, court and judges of Russian and English peoples.

TL;DR: This study proposes a spatial planning framework for Beijing's Garden City, integrating natural landscapes, historical culture, and modern urban functions to promote high-quality development, ecological governance, and cultural inheritance in megacities.
Abstract: Objective The concept of Beijing Garden City is not only a continuous development of the concept of Forest City and Park City, but also an integral part of the construction of Beautiful China. As a mega-city that has entered the era of renewal development and fine governance, Beijing has taken the lead in exploring the path of garden city construction, and attempts to establish a spatial planning framework that fits its positioning as the capital of China, while exploring an innovative path of high-quality urban development driven by green space through the integration of natural landscapes, historical culture and modern urban functions, thereby promoting the integration and mutual promotion of green space and urban functions, and providing theoretical reference and practical guidance for solving the problems of ecological governance, cultural inheritance and spatial quality improvement of megacities. Methods Based on the in-depth interpretation of the connotation and evolution of Garden City and the excellent practical experience of China and foreign countries, this research compares and analyzes the connotative differences among related concepts such as eco-city, Shan-shui city, landscape city, forest city, and park city, and refines the core connotation that garden city focuses on the urban characteristic core and takes the whole domain space as the object to enhance urban livability. Secondly, based on the five value dimensions of construction process, urban positioning, construction characteristics, natural conditions, and ecosystem, this research analyzes the relationship between Beijing's urban characteristics and the connotation of garden city, clarifies the key directions for Beijing Garden City to respond to the needs of high-quality development, and puts forward development suggestions from the five dimensions of garden city construction resource carrier utilization, urban positioning response, fine spatial construction, climate adaptation methods, and ecosystem efficiency improvement. Furthermore, based on the perspectives of "greenery enhancement", "greenery integration", and "greenery governance", this research proposes a high-quality transformation idea that planning needs to shift from quantitative expansion to quality improvement, from embedding greenery into the city to integrating greenery with the city, and from garden landscape construction to scene construction from the three dimensions of quantity and quality, space and function, and planning and implementation. Additionally, the research constructs a spatial planning framework for the transformation of "characteristic demands – spatial strategies", forming the Beijing path for garden city construction. Results Five transformation paths are formed to promote the transformation of Beijing from traditional mode to high-quality development. First, lead the pattern and style of Garden City with natural and cultural characteristics: Constructing the foundation and structure of garden city relying on natural landscapes, and building the characteristics of garden city by utilizing historical and cultural elements. Second, guide the spatial priorities of garden city based on the capital positioning: Strengthening the functions of the "four centers", designating elite demonstration areas of garden city, showcasing the national capital image, and shaping the ceremonial spaces of garden city. Third, create colorful urban landscapes based on Beijing's seasonal characteristics: Exploring four-season garden city landscapes integrated with urban colors, and probing into the aesthetic values of landscapes under the interaction between seasonal changes and humanistic characteristics. Fourth, deepen the construction methods of garden city based on human-perceived needs: Constructing visual corridors to enhance the observability of garden landscapes; improving greenways to enhance the accessibility of garden spaces; activating boundaries to strengthen the integration of garden elements; revitalizing micro-spaces to achieve the accessibility of garden areas; and shaping scenarios to enhance the permeability of garden concepts. Fifth, improve the ecological efficiency of garden city with the concept of safety and resilience: Emphasizing environmental health efficiency and strengthening climate regulation; focusing on the integration of refined and wild landscapes to enhance biodiversity; and attaching importance to the dual-purpose design for normal and emergency use to improve safety and resilience. Conclusion The construction of Garden City represents a critical pathway for Beijing's pursuit of high-quality development. Against the backdrop of intertwined historical and cultural heritage and the diverse development needs of a modern metropolis, the concept of garden city has injected new vitality into Beijing's growth. This research provides practical experience for garden city concepts and related ideas, offering a construction path for promoting high-quality development in super-large high-density cities through the creation of high-quality "gardens" under the context of stock transformation, while presenting new approaches for advancing urban high-quality development through green spaces. The construction methods proposed, including the establishment of visual corridors, improvement of greenways, activation of boundaries, revitalization of micro-spaces, and shaping of scenarios, offer feasible strategies for constructing green spaces based on human-perceived needs. These efforts aim to provide conceptual and methodological guidance for the planning and construction of garden city in China, and inspire other cities to deeply explore their characteristic resources and achieve high-quality urban development through the scientific planning and efficient utilization of green spaces.
TL;DR: This study analyzes war-related collocations with negative connotations in wartime communication, employing a corpus-driven approach and lingvosynergetic framework to reveal their role in shaping reality and influencing policy and resilience through language.
Abstract: The scientific work is dedicated to the analysis of war-related collocations as a phenomenon of transdisciplinary nature and the mechanisms of their conceptualization in wartime communication. In our study, the axiological framework consists of epistemological and anthropocentric approaches, along with the principle of fractality. The application of a corpus-driven approach into the non-fictional text analysis using Orange software, aids in performing various tasks within the corpus: extracting keywords (one component war-related collocations) with a negative connotation; analyzing war-related collocations that affect the phase trajectory of the language system; determining the relationship between two random variables policy and resilience for understanding author’s view on events, based on the testimony of eyewitnesses, military experts and political analysts. The corpus-driven approach is focused on establishing the hierarchy of war-related collocations that define the content and scope of the concept of the Russian-Ukrainian war and reveal the linguopolitical synergy of the socio-political space, language space, and war linguistics within the military-political framework. Additionally, the software Cortical.io provides a wide range of war-related collocations – used in the discourse of wartime communication. As a result of lingvosynergetic approach, self-oscillations arose in the dissipative system. In accordance with the outcome, the performativity of collocations lies in the fact that they not only describe but also actively shape reality through language, and in this process, they reveal new communicative paradigms during wartime. A corpus-driven and linguosynergetic approaches enabled us to identify the motives of war in non-fictional texts.

Abstract: Axiolinguistics—often glossed as the study of how language encodes values and evaluation—emerged at the intersection of semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, and ethnolinguistics. In English-language scholarship its roots reach back to early work on affect and connotation (e.g., semantic differential studies), then consolidate through pragmatics and discourse studies on evaluation and stance, and mature within Systemic Functional Linguistics as Appraisal Theory. From the 2000s onward, corpus-based methods, Critical Discourse Analysis, and computational approaches to sentiment and stance expanded its empirical scope while intercultural pragmatics and Natural Semantic Metalanguage tied evaluation to culture-specific value scripts. This short survey sketches key stages, anchors major frameworks and terms, and shows how axiolinguistics has moved from scattered insights about “attitude in language” to a cumulative, multi-method research program.
Abstract: <p><em><span>Cultivating top-tier innovative talents is a core demand for China to respond to international scientific and technological competition and realize the strategy of becoming an educational power. In China, general senior high schools serve as a crucial stage for fostering innovative literacy and early identification of talents. However, there exists a profound contradiction between their traditional homogeneous talent cultivation model and the growth laws of top-tier innovative talents. Constructing a school-based student development guidance mechanism for top-tier innovative talents is a core path to resolve this contradiction and deepen the reform of talent cultivation methods in senior high schools. By systematically reviewing relevant domestic and international literature, this paper first elaborates on the research origin from three dimensions: the practical predicament of education, the rigid requirements of policies, and the needs for cultivating top-tier innovative talents. Then, it clarifies and defines core concepts such as “student development guidance mechanism”, “school-based student development guidance mechanism”, and “top-tier innovative talents” theoretically. On this basis, the paper summarizes the current research status at home and abroad from three aspects: connotation analysis, value interpretation, and model construction, and introduces the collaborative theoretical basis supporting this research. Finally, the paper points out three limitations of the current research: insufficient systematic construction, lack of empirical support, and deficiency in international comparison. It also looks forward to future research focusing on practical issues and theoretical construction, aiming to provide theoretical references and practical paradigms for constructing the school-based student development guidance mechanism for top-tier innovative talents.</span></em></p>

TL;DR: This study compares the concept of "pride" in Russian and Chinese languages, analyzing its linguocultural aspects, historical context, and semantic connotations, revealing polar meanings and cultural differences in perception over time.
Abstract: The concept of “pride” has one of the central places in the system of moral and ethical concepts. The article provides a comparative analysis of the concept of "pride" from the point of view of linguacultural studies. The authors consider the features of the perception of "pride" in the linguistic picture of the world of two cultures, and also analyze the similarities and differences in the understanding of this concept. The authors draw attention to the historical context of the formation of ideas, which makes it possible to see the dynamics of changes in the perception of the context of "pride" over time. The study is based on the analysis of Russian and Chinese phraseological units, including proverbs and sayings. The paper includes descriptive, componential (analysis of lexical meaning) and comparative analysis. The authors come to the conclusion that the concept of "pride" has polar meanings, ranging from the shade of "positive pride" to the semantic connotation of "negative arrogance". When the concept of "pride" is expressed in a neutral or positive sense, it is perceived positively in both cultures. The analysis of phraseological units from the point of diachronic comparison showed that the perception of the concept in the Chinese language is characterized by relative "stability" over time, while in the Russian language this concept has experienced significant changes under the influence of extralinguistic factors. The conducted analysis opens up new prospects for further research in the field of intercultural communication and cognitive linguistics. Future research can focus on a more detailed study of other concepts, their evolution, influence on intercultural interaction, as well as on a comparative analysis of concepts in other languages.

Abstract: The study of rural spatial distribution, an important aspect of rural research, has great significance in supporting comprehensive rural revitalization and integrated urban-rural development. Previous studies have mainly focused on distribution and factors. With the deepening of relevant research, the connotation of rural spatial distribution has become increasingly rich, where factor study has gradually expanded to an element study, which requires urgent restructure of overview framework. This overview presents the basic concepts of rural spatial distribution at two levels. The evolution of modern research was analyzed in chronological order, and changes in the number of publications, field distribution, and topic distribution in recent years were statistically analyzed using a literature database. Subsequently, based on the two-level meaning of rural spatial distribution, the research content was summarized into four types of units: natural geographic units, administrative regional units, professional characteristic units, and rural element units. Finally, looking ahead to the future research in this area. The conclusions were as follows. The study of modern rural spatial distribution in China is divided into five stages according to the timeline: before the founding of the People's Republic of China, the early years of the People's Republic of China, after the reform and opening up, the early 21st century, and the new era of socialism. Recently, an overall increase has been observed in the number of related publications. A multidisciplinary intersecting system centered on geography and integrating agriculture, economy, tourism, and architecture was formed from a macro-geographic perspective, which encompasses four research themes. Significant differences were noted in rural spatial distribution across different natural geographical units, where the administrative level affects the distribution characteristics and reorganization modes. Meanwhile, professional characteristic units conformed to important geographical spatial distribution patterns in China. Additionally, various rural elements revealed spatial differentiation in terms of land use and industry distance. In summary, it is recommended to establish a research system for natural geographic units as soon as possible; expand multiple-term research; conduct in-depth analysis of the influencing factors of administrative regional units; conduct cross-administrative research; explore the commonalities of rural spatial characteristics; enrich research on professional characteristic units; introduce new elements such as digitization, intelligence, and networking; and strengthen research on various element units. The significant contribution of this study is that it not only systematically sorts out the concept and development process of rural spatial distribution, but also analyzes the research status and integrates the content into four types of units. In addition, it prospectively guides future research and provides solid theoretical and practical guidance.
TL;DR: This study explores apocope and apheresis, two truncation phenomena in modern French, which enrich connotation and create new stylistic effects, appearing in both colloquial and literary language, with a focus on their emotional and affective impact.
Abstract: The means of enriching the French vocabulary and creating new connotations are not so numerous: affixation in all its grandeur and complexity, composition and telescopy (telescoping), the rare contamination of two or three words, the passage of a word from one part of speech into another, the deliberate and comical change of spelling. But there is also in French the phenomenon of the truncation of a simple word (or a compound - very rarely) by the deletion of a phoneme or several phonemes in the initial position (apheresis) or in the final position (apocope). Working on the stylistic metalanguage (Dictionary of stylistic and poetic terms), we have written more detailed lexicographic articles on these two terms, justifying their presence not only in colloquial, popular and slang French, but also in literary and poetic language. This article is dedicated to the phenomenon of truncation that is done for stylistic purposes as a result of which we obtain new expressive, emotional and even affective connotations in the text (speech).
Abstract: The problem of the research lies in the need to identify how the purpose of content a ects a media product: its creation taking into account trending phenomena and trends, viral phrases and sound materials; its relevance and perception by the target audience; the generation of parodies based on it; the new sound of “old” films using it; the use of editing and fonts; on the semiotic construction of videos; on its relevance to musical mass events; on the speed of distribution of clips on the web; on the connotation of media texts; on the share of creative unconventional videos in the media; on the visualization of text and the formation of media aesthetics. In order to generate a product in demand by the audience, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the media field sector: commercial and government. The classification category is selected based on the type of ownership of the video producer. The purpose of the work: to capture the popular design of a media product (commercial videos, state-owned media clips) that is in demand by the audience in mid-2024. The article focuses on sound and music, video sequences, and font design. The object of the study is VKontakte clips from the commercial and public sectors of the media field, selected by keywords representing nine thematic blocks. The subject is trends in videos that are in demand by the target audience of the social network. The study, based on content analysis, discourse analysis, and the included observation method, revealed similarities and di erences between the two types of clips. The general thing has been revealed: the trending clips of each sector of the media field are based on juxtaposition, have a positive connotation, influence the creation of high-quality parodies, and include text visualization. The di erence between commercial clips and state-owned videos is that the first category of media product outperforms trending musical compositions and sound, while the content of state-owned videos is based on the recording of comic videos, most often fragments from films, and trending musical compositions are rarely accompanied. The videos also di er in their semiotic characteristics. The purpose of commercial clips is to sell a product/service; the purpose of state-owned content is to inform subscribers about government activities. The theoretical significance of the work lies in getting an idea of the formation of trends.; about the elements, events, and products of the creative industries that serve as a catalyst for the emergence of popular media texts and mass media flows. The practical significance lies in the possibility to apply the developments in the activities of media specialists filling commercial accounts or government resources. The paper notes that trends are being transformed; algorithms, formats, tools, and platforms are emerging that influence the popularization of content. The issue requires scientific and research attention, which makes the research promising.
