Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a calefaction device which is usable to effectively treat a cancer patient, a cold catching patient, and a virus infected patient without giving large pain and harmful side effects and is easily installed at general medical facilities, and can maintain the limit temperature of human bodies. CONSTITUTION: Plural dome-shaped covers 1 and 2 which can freely be opened and closed are fitted onto a box-shaped main body 3 whose upper opening part is closed with a plate type lid, a head cooling pillow which communicates with a water cooling circulation device is installed detachably on the lid body, and a hot blast generating device 10 which communicates with a blow-off duct 8 and a suction duct 9 which are open in the dome-shaped cover is installed in the box shaped main body 3. Then the internal surfaces of the dome-shaped covers 1 and 2 are formed in a concave surface shape so that a surface type radiation body for far infrared rays has the focus on the center line of a human body positioned on the main body; and the front surface is closed except a hole which is just large enough to allow at least the neck pass and the rear end surface is entirely closed.
