TL;DR: In this paper, a colorful rose and Chinese rose bonsai cultivation method was proposed, where roses and Chinese roses of various colors and different varieties are adopted as scions and grafted to a protospecies stock of a wild rose.
Abstract: The invention provides a colorful rose and Chinese rose bonsai cultivation method. According to the method, roses and Chinese roses of various colors and different varieties are adopted as scions and grafted to a protospecies stock of a wild rose.
TL;DR: A fruit tree bonsai planting method includes primarily grafting a scion with a stock by an inarching method, with an inarched location being fastened tightly by a tape.
Abstract: A fruit tree bonsai planting method includes primarily grafting a scion with a stock by an inarching method, with an inarched location being fastened tightly by a tape. A lower part of the scion is cut off when the inarched location is healed and then the stock is transplanted to a pot with fertile soil for fixing, thereby forming a fruit tree bonsai having an indoor decorative condition and edible fruits.
TL;DR: This is the first report of X. fastidiosa associated with leaf scorch in high-valued bonsai and in beech, and it is confirmed to be the predicted X.Fastidioa product by sequencing and sequence comparison with the reported genomic sequence ofX.
Abstract: A disorder was recently observed in a 76-year-old Japanese beech (Fagus crenata) bonsai with symptoms including marginal scorch of leaves bordered by a chlorotic halo, as well as a premature leaf browning and defoliation. Leaf midrib extracts from the affected bonsai reacted with an antiserum specific to Xylella fastidiosa in an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. When the total DNA from the leaf midribs of the affected bonsai was extracted and subjected to polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with primers specific to X. fastidiosa, a 472-bp PCR product was detected. The PCR product was confirmed to be the predicted X. fastidiosa product by sequencing and sequence comparison with the reported genomic sequence of X. fastidiosa. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent and PCR assays of leaf midrib extracts of a symptomless Japanese beech tree were negative. This is the first report of X. fastidiosa associated with leaf scorch in high-valued bonsai and in beech.
TL;DR: In this paper, the functions of the Japanese company are organized around the integration of generic technologies and their "valorization" in different product/market lines, visualized in the form of a tree.
TL;DR: An activated bonsai of die stump and artificial hill and a manufacturing method thereof comprise a base body manufactured by die stump or artificial hill, and a collet thereof, wherein the base body is embedded with and/or grafted with a microflowerpot, and plants are grown in the micro-flowerpot.
Abstract: An activated bonsai of die stump and artificial hill and a manufacturing method thereof comprise a bonsai base body manufactured by die stump and/or artificial hill and a collet thereof, wherein the bonsai base body is embedded with and/or grafted with a micro-flowerpot, and plants are grown in the micro-flowerpot. The invention has broad source of manufacturing materials of bonsai as well as convenient and rapid manufacturing; the grown flowers and plants are simple and convenient to change; mass production is suitable with lower cost; daily transportation, maintenance and management are convenient; the survival rate of plants in bonsai is high; therefore, a new product of high-grade and economical popular bonsai applied to popularization is provided for horticultural market.
