TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe their model with picturesque visualizations; they give the phenomenological equations; they develop their model drawing on statistical mechanics; they stop, charismatically introduce a needed supporting derivation; he would carefully draw a chalk line around each supporting argument setting it aside from the main argument.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a conference and to enable preparation of an accurate conference note, by picking up the contents of proceeding written on a blackboard etc. and displaying then on a monitor television, and editing, the contents on the monitor television to print out. CONSTITUTION:The contents of proceeding written on a blackboard 7 are converted to picture data by a video camera 1 and stored in a buffer memory 5 of the camera 1, and at the same time, displayed on a monitor television 8. An operator operates a keyboard 9 while watching the contents of display on the television 8, and designates the area to be printed out. In such a way, designated picture data are read out from the memory 6 and printed by a printer 10.

Abstract: A system for the automatic understanding of continuous German speech is introduced. Main principles of its design, the blackboard model structure and the parallel processing aspect are motivated and the essential subsystems described: The relational database system to realize the blackboard, the parallel computer simulation and the experimentation frame for interactive structure definition and detailed performance analysis of various speech understanding configurations. The specifications for the first generation of knowledge modules, currently under development are also given.
