TL;DR: Macleart and Machelart as discussed by the authors described the Baroque art of the ancient Jesuit's Church of Cambrai as a "first-rate testimony of the Barocque art" of ancient Netherlands.
Abstract: F. Machelart, Architects and sculptors of the ancient Jesuit's church of Cambrai. ; The ancient Jesuit's church of Cambrai offers a first-rate testimony of the Baroque art of the ancient Netherlands. It was built between 1678 and 1694 by the Jesuit friars BEEGRAND and VERBESSUM, though following plans which may be dated back to 1620 and which were undoubtedly drawn by friar Jean du BLOCQ, also responsible for several other buildings in the Cambrai area. The inside sculptures are outstanding. We owe them to the two constructors and to a Cambrai workshop follower of the MARSYS. The facade, rebuilt in 1870, no longer displays its original aspect : a sculpted group representing the Assumption was added to it and makes it heavier than originally.
