TL;DR: Fourty-eight Bacillus reference strains representing 17 different species and 22 Bacillus isolates from paper and board (carton) mills were characterized by phage sensitivity and whole cell fatty acid analysis, allowing identification of 19 out of the 22 paper andBoard mill isolates in agreement with results obtained by classical identification methods based on the biochemical and physiological properties.
