Abstract: The invention discloses a watch capable of adjusting length of a watch strap and a watch strap length adjustment method. The watch comprises a dial, a first watch strap, a second watch strap, a master controller, a sensor and a watch strap adjustment mechanism, wherein the first watch strap and the second watch strap are connected to the dial and can be mutually connected; the watch strap adjustment mechanism comprises a step motor and a step motor driving mechanism; the first watch strap comprises a rectangular frame structure; the rectangular frame structure comprises opposite first and second long edges; saw teeth are arranged on the inner side(s) of the first long edge and/or the second long edge; the second watch strap is provided with a gear; the gear is connected with the step motor and is mutually engaged with the saw teeth arranged on the inner side(s) of the first long edge and/or the second long edge. The master controller judges the state of a human body when receiving a detection signal of the sensor, generates a control signal and transmits to the step motor driving mechanism; a drive signal is generated by the step motor driving mechanism to drive the step motor to drive the gear to rotate so as to realize automatic watch strap adjustment according to the state of the human body and improve the watch wearing experience effect.

Abstract: Automatic watches use the movements of the wrist to re-wind the barrel spring and thus supply the necessary energy for the correct functioning of the watch. When the user cannot wear the watch it is proposed to place it on an automatic re-winding device. The device according to the invention is compact and modular. Furthermore, in order to avoid any error of manipulation, the starting and stopping of the re-winding device is done automatically by means of a detection of the presence of the watch ( 3 ). The passing of the strap in the detachable base ( 2 ) produces the tension of the device.
