Abstract: In North America, management of glaucoma includes observation, medical therapy, laser surgery, and ab-externa ocular surgery.[1] Although management of glaucoma in Russia does not differ greatly from that in the West, Russia has a unique biomaterial, Alloplant. This unique biomaterial has been documented in Russian literature not only to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) but also to have the potential to induce normal tissue regeneration (allowing for restoration of normal eye physiology), decrease inflammatory response, prevent or minimize scarring, and stimulate regeneration of natural host tissues.
TL;DR: In this article, the wound cavity tissue is infiltrated with injections of dispersed biomaterial Alloplant, diluted in physiological solution with ratio 200-400 mg of biomaterial per 20-30 ml of 0.9% physiological solution of sodium chloride, injections being made in 5-15 points, 2-3 ml per each.
Abstract: FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery and can be applied for surgical treatment of long-nonhealing wounds and trophic ulcers. Wound cavity tissue is infiltrated with injections of dispersed biomaterial Alloplant, diluted in physiological solution with ratio 200-400 mg of biomaterial per 20-30 ml of 0.9% physiological solution of sodium chloride, injections being made in 5-15 points, 2-3 ml per each. Fat-free and preliminarily impregnated in physiological solution with antibiotic, sensitive to wound microflora, volumetric biomaterial Alloplant is placed into processed wound cavity. Biomaterial Alloplant is fixed on skin along wound edge by means of allotendinous threads with additional under-knot pads from biomaterial Alloplant. ^ EFFECT: method allows to ensure effect in patients with malinnervation. ^ 2 cl, 2 ex
