Firstly, after standard definition signals are input, first level scaling processing is carried out; after pixel scaling processing is carried out to the standard definition signals of a 480i or 480p or 576i or 576p or 720p format, the signals are amplified to a 1920*1080 format; a horizontal direction and a vertical direction are amplified to the half widths of a screen; processing such as horizontal, vertical and diagonal definition and NR is carried out; then second level scaling amplification is carried out; at this time, the signals are amplified to the size the same to the 4K screen; and one time image quality processing such as definition is carried out. According to the method, after two levels of scaling and two levels of peaking processing, the definition and depth of field of the finally watched video of the standard definition signal format is more than two times of those of the original video. The image quality is more exquisite, clear and bright. The watching comfort is greatly improved.
