The Association for Psychological Science (APS) is one of the most influential society publishers in the behavioral sciences. Founded in 1988 as the American Psychological Society and renamed in 2006, the Washington, DC-based non-profit publishes seven peer-reviewed journals in partnership with SAGE Publishing - a compact, high-signal portfolio anchored by Psychological Science, one of the most-cited empirical journals in the field.

APS journals have also been at the front of the credibility revolution in psychology: Registered Reports, badges for open data and materials, preregistration norms, and a dedicated methods journal (AMPPS) all have deep roots here. • Model: double-anonymized review is the norm across APS titles.

2. Read the submission guidelines. Each APS journal posts detailed guidelines on psychologicalscience.org and on its Sage journal page.
