Abstract: The invention discloses a webpage loading method and a browser. The webpage loading method includes the steps of downloading webpage resources specified in a webpage from a network according to the address of the webpage, when it is monitored that downloading of the first webpage resource in the webpage is failed, sending the first original address of the first webpage resource to a search engine server side corresponding to the browser to search the second webpage resource corresponding to the first original address on the search engine server side, obtaining the second webpage resource corresponding to the first original address from the search engine server side, and when the downloaded webpage resource is loaded in a webpage of the browser, enabling the second webpage resource to replace the first webpage resource and be loaded to the corresponding position of the webpage.
