TL;DR: The debugging skills of students seem to correlate with some non-technical skills that are essential base competencies in software engineering, such as the ability to work in a systematic way, which implies that for improving students' debugging skills, it is helpful to address not only the technical aspects of debugging, but to foster the required base competency as well.

WITHDRAWN: Experimental Strategies to Identify the Neurobiological Bases of Memory: Lesions
David S. Olton
- 01 Jan 1991
TL;DR: The rationale for lesions, the ways in which the lesion analysis can be misapplied to yield very curious conclusions, the application of this logic to examine the brain mechanisms involved in memory, and recent developments emphasizing the importance of parametric manipulations and interpretations are reviewed.
