Abstract: The results of studies on the regularities of structure formation and properties of high-entropy alloys prepared by different methods are analyzed and generalized. Specific features of the synthesis of nitride coatings based on multicomponent alloys are considered. Main physicomechanical properties of the coatings of different elemental composition deposited in different manner were compared. The bibliography includes 229 references.
