TL;DR: There was a good agreement between male and female patients in the judgement of the rearing behaviour of their fathers, however, female patients scored their mother as more abusive, whereas male patients scored them as more over-protective.

TL;DR: The medical student psychiatry clerkship has taken an increased importance as the clinical practice of medicine evolves and students should understand that the knowledge of psychiatric principles is important for non-psychiatric physicians.
