The prevention of corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis with nandrolone decanoate.
Silvano Adami,V. Fossaluzza,Maurizio Rossini,Francesco Bertoldo,Davide Gatti,N. Zamberlan,V. Lo Cascio +6 more
TL;DR: Nandrolone decanoate therapy may be used in the prevention of CST-induced osteoporosis because it also seems to exert mild inhibition of bone resorption without affecting or even stimulating bone formation.

The effects of muscle-building exercise on forearm bone mineral content and osteoblast activity in drug-free and anabolic steroids self-administering young men.
TL;DR: It is shown that muscle-building exercise is associated with increase in BMC and BD also at non-weight bearing sites, and that anabolic steroids did not provide, at the time of the observation, any further stimulus for osteoblast activity and bone formation.

Osteoporosis in Glucocorticoid-Dependent Asthmatic Patients
Michael Schatz,Daniel Hamilos +1 more
TL;DR: Although optimal prophylaxis and therapy for glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis have not been established, a number of recommendations can be made for glucose-dependent asthmatics and patients with substantial bone loss.
