Abstract: A new technology for waste heat utilization of exhaust gas from power plant boilers is presented. By means of refrigeration technology with partially opened self-regulating gravitational heat pipes and solid adsorbents, it is possible to recover the waste heat of exhaust gas, realizing directly central refrigerating and central heating. In such a case, the system structure is simple, having reliable per-formance, convenience to maintenance, and low capital investiment, enabling the temperature of exhaust gas from boiler to be greatly lowered, and energy-saving effect to be remarkable.
