Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stain-resistant coating film which exhibits a surface hydrophilicity from just after being formed, has a soil release effect, is excellent in resistance to permeation of oily stains, and has good physical properties such as weatherability by incorporating a tetraalkoxysilane condensate having long-chain and short-chain alkyl groups into the same. SOLUTION: A polyol compd. (A) used here has a wt. average mol.wt. of 5,000-80,000 and a hydroxyl value of 20-150mgKOH/g, an example being a polyether polyol and an esp. pref. example being a fluorocopolymer obtd. from a fluoroolefin and a hydroxylated monomer. A polyisocyanate compd. (B) used here is e.g. TDI and is used in an equivalent ratio of B/A (NCO/OH) of 0.6-1.4. A tetraalkoxysilane (C) used has a degree of condensation of 4-20 and has 1-2C alkyl groups and 3-10C alkyl groups (5-50 equivalent % of the total alkyl groups).

- 23 Feb 2001
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a solution to overcome the problem of easy deposition of dust in the air on an extensible surface layer of a conventional waterproof layer for a building, though the surface layer which is formed of an extrinsic material improves the weatherability of the entire waterproof layer and imparts a hue to the appearance of the building, thereby suppressing degraded appearance due to contamination, and providing a laminated structure which is prevented from degradation of outward design value due to contaminant, has lamination of a surface layer capable of following the extensibility of a waterproof
