On the Source-Channel Coding Tradeoff in Networked Control
TL;DR: An analytical model for the system performance is developed, the source-channel coding tradeoff is quantified and the optimal performance is compared with what can be achieved with the optimalperformance of a collocated estimator using both analytical studies and extensive monte carlo simulations.
