Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image device which is of a simple configuration and has a color filter that offers high color reproductivity even when using a lighting with a low color temperature. SOLUTION: The solid-state image device includes a plurality of two-dimensionally arranged pixels each of which has a color separation filter that allows light of a given wavelength out of incident light to pass therethrough. The color separation filter has: an ultraviolet cut filter which allows light longer in wavelength than the ultraviolet wavelength range to pass therethrough; a first visible near-infrared filter having a transmission band in which part of light belonging to the visible light wavelength range and the near-infrared wavelength range passes through the filter; and a second visible near-infrared filter having a transmission band in which part of light belonging to the visible light wavelength range and the near-infrared wavelength range passes through the filter, the transmission band being different from the transmission band of the first visible near-infrared filter.
