Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the number of installed software from exceeding the contracted license number, by making a server store information showing a history of software install and information showing the license number of software, and managing the license number of the software installed in the client SOLUTION: The serve 100 stores a software to be newly installed in a client 120 in a soft ware storage part 107 and registers in a history management table 101 The client 120 judges whether or not to install the software stored in the server 100, and storing it in a software storing part 127 When an install is completed, a software management part 104 stores day and time of the install in the history management table 101 as well as register the installed incense number is a license number management table 102 Thus, the license number installed in the client 120 is managed by the server 100
