Abstract: This paper presents a new approach for optical burst switching in order to achieve better performance of cloud computing systems. The model of software defined burst scheduling in core node of OBS (Optical Burst Switching) network was designed based on field programmable gate arrays supervised by main controller. Simulation results prove the advantage of the proposed network infrastructure.
