TL;DR: Both the patterns of induced tyrosine phosphorylation and the effects of CD45 modulation were essentially similar in the CD4-TCR and the TCR- TCR signal transduction cascades, consistent with a purely synergistically amplifying function for CD4 on the T CR-mediated signalling.

T-cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 is involved in sulfated polymannuroguluronate (SPMG)-induced T lymphocyte activation
TL;DR: The simultaneous interactions of SPMG with TCR/CD3 and with ConA can be highly proposed to facilitate the cross-linking of these molecules, and thus favoring costimulatory signaling, which serves to well explain the immunopotentiation and anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) activities of S PMG.

Interleukin-16 in a mouse model of allergic asthma
J.J. de Bie
- 01 Oct 1999
TL;DR: Current research is focused on development of strategies that treat asthmatics at a more causal level of their illness, and it is now widely accepted that T-helper type 2 (Th2) lymphocytes play a causal role in allergic asthma.

The CD4 and CD8 T cell surface antigens are associated with the internal membrane tyrosine-protein kinase p56lck
TL;DR: The data demonstrate that p56lck is specifically modulated with either CD4 or CD8 following antibody-mediated cross-linking of these molecules and that a large fraction of the total cellular lck protein can be coimmunoprecipitated with these surface glycoproteins.

ZAP-70: A 70 kd protein-tyrosine kinase that associates with the TCR ζ chain
TL;DR: The isolation of a cDNA clone encoding ZAP-70 represents a novel PTK that associates with ζ and undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation following TCR stimulation and provide a potential mechanism by which the src family PTKs and Zap-70 may interact to mediate TCR signal transduction.

Monoclonal xenogeneic antibodies to murine cell surface antigens: identification of novel leukocyte differentiation antigens
TL;DR: Hybrid myeloma cell lines secreting monoclonal antibodies to mouse cell surface antigens have been prepared and each antigenic target was analyzed by gel electrophoresis of immunoprecipitated 125I‐labeled cell surface molecules.
