Oscillating neutrinos and μ→ e, γ
J.A. Casas,A. Ibarra,A. Ibarra +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the prediction for BR(μ→e,γ) is in general larger than the experimental upper bound, especially if the largest Yakawa coupling is O (1) and the solar data are explained by a large angle MSW effect, which recent analyses suggest as the preferred scenario.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the SHiP experiment has a unique potential to discover new physics and can directly probe a number of solutions of beyond the standard model puzzles, such as neutrino masses, baryon asymmetry of the Universe, dark matter, and inflation.
Muon decay and physics beyond the standard model
Yoshitaka Kuno,Yasuhiro Okada +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the current theoretical and experimental status of the field of muon decay and its potential to search for new physics beyond the standard model is reviewed, together with the recent up-to-date motivations of lepton flavor violation based on supersymmetric models.

Ilja Doršner,Svjetlana Fajfer,Svjetlana Fajfer,Admir Greljo,Admir Greljo,Jernej F. Kamenik,Jernej F. Kamenik,Nejc Košnik,Nejc Košnik +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive review of physics effects generated by leptoquarks (LQs), i.e., hypothetical particles that can turn quarks into leptons and vice versa, of either scalar or vector nature, is presented.

Effective lagrangian analysis of new interactions and flavour conservation
W. Buchmüller,D Wyler +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the first two terms of the effective lagrangian were constructed in an expansion in powers of 1/Λ and studied systematically possible effects of new interactions such as anomalous magnetic moments, deviations from universality in weak interactions and rare processes.

A linear predictive method for on-line track recognition and event analysis for cylindrical magnetic spectrometers
TL;DR: In this article, a fast and simple track search algorithm based on a linear predictive method and applicable to cylindrical magnetic spectrometers is described, which can be used to do event analysis on-line.

TL;DR: In this paper, the search for the decay μ+ → e+e+e−e− with the SINDRUM spectrometer has been continued and a new upper limit for the branching ratio B μ→3 e = Γ(μ→ 3 e ) Γ (μ→ e 2ν) −12 (90% CL ) was given.
