Abstract: The arrangement has a flat sealing element (10) arranged on a support plate i.e. transmission control plate. The sealing element is provided with sealing contour elements (12) e.g. ring contour elements (14), made of a sealing paper. The sealing contour elements include a height profile with a height, which varies between minimum height regions and maximum height regions. The sealing element includes screw eye bolts (30), which are designed as screw openings in the ring contour elements that enclose the plate. The eye bolts represent the minimum height regions. The sealing paper contains fibers e.g. cellulose fibers and aramide fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sealing arrangement.
