Abstract: This study investigated the effect of scientific method-based pedagogical competence reflection (SMBPCR) to improve teacher professionalism in Bandar Lampung schools, in Indonesia. This study used a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest experimental designs on three groups of teachers carried out over six months. Purposive sampling was used to recruit 18 teachers as samples with three criteria: Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Teacher Education, primary classroom teachers, and three groups of teaching experiences. Data were analyzed using the nonparametric test with two related samples. Results showed that there is an average increase from 2.49 to 3.54 statistically therefore the SMBPCR could improve teacher professionalism significantly.
