Abstract: In wireless sensor network,the node self-localization is the foundation of target localization,and it includes two classes as distance-based and distance irrelevant localizations.The RSSI-based localization algorithm,for its easy implementation,is widely,but it has a fairly big error in distance ranging.The paper presents a new RSSI-based ranging localization algorithm,which computes the location of approximate centroid with RSSI,then with it as reference node,adjusts the range,and locates the node.Simulation results show that this algorithm is of better localization precision.
